4. The Addams Family

The Addams Family (1991)

Everyone’s favourite creepy, kooky family, The Addams Family make their movie debut! Gomez reminisces about his brother, Fester, who has been missing for decades, when he’s interrupted for a meeting with his Lawyer, Tully. Tully owes money to a grifter, named Abigail. The two of them work together to convince the Addams Family that Abigail’s brother is the long lost Fester, and have him break into the Addams’ vault. By the end of the movie, we find the true meaning of family.

3. Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus (1993)

The movie takes place in Salem, Massachusetts where centuries ago, The Sanderson sisters were hanged after taking part in a ritual to steal the youth of a little girl, and turning her brother into a black cat in the process. They placed a curse on the town promising to return during a full moon on All Hallows’ Eve when a virgin lights the Black Flame. Unfortunately Max Dennison did just that, and it’s up to him, his sister Dani, friend Allison, and a little black cat to stop the witches before they drain all the kids in town of their youth!

2. It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (1966)

This classic TV special follows Charles Schulz’s Peanuts gang while they get ready for Halloween and go trick-or-treating. Linus, however, would rather wait in the local pumpkin patch for the mythical Great Pumpkin. We love the message that Halloween is about more than just getting candy, and that it’s okay to want to keep the spirit of Halloween alive!

1. Ernest Scared Stupid

Earnest Scared Stupid (1991)
